Flashback: Remembering Alexander McQueen One Year Later.

Today, a year ago,

we lost the most treasured person in the fashion industry.

Today, a year ago we all cried for the man who had

created magic to fabric & design.

Today, 11th February we lost Alexander McQueen.

A tragic that most of us still try to fathom.

A man of unique vision took his own life

after mourning of his late mum Joyce.

Which he could not cope...

I-zcream remember Alexander McQueen, today & forever.

Let's flashback to his last collection

& inspired with awe to his spectacular visual of Art.

Fashion will never be the same without his adored creativity.

He has re-written the history of Fashion.

It's difficult to imagine fashion without McQueen.

The bright designer of cutting edge & funky style

never failed to impress his dramatic showmanship shows.

Can't get any better that the real McQueen but

Sarah Burton will triumph in her shoes, I believe.

Let's have some hope still...

One can never imagine how much thought & work

done to this collection.

Pure genius, 'What's is in head?', I would say...

How did he get inspired?

Now we'll never know, the secrets will never be told.

For us to marvel his last work & ponder...

What's missing was the showmanship that comes along

in McQueen show.

The good news is that the workmanship is visible.

Beautifully crafted dresses, simply breath-taking 

and I'm seriously believe this is what Mother Earth

would wear. As Pagan would be the responsible for this

heavenly collection.

Sarah Burton will be my favourite girl at the moment.

She would be my insatiable one.

These triple threat are more deadlier that 'The Shining' Twins,

or the one shown at the 'other' show.

And I just can't wait for what Burton comes up next,

perhaps some showmanship?

That would be totally McQueen!

It's feels closer to home that seeing this picture of Singapore famous fashionista 

and aesthetic surgeon, Dr. Georgia Lee, rock this snake dress by McQueen.

She was seen at Milan Menswear Spring/Summer fashion show.

Must say she look fabulous!

The Sunday Times Magazine to be on the Cover of the issue.

It's a beautiful piece of artwork.

The new Creative Director
for Alexander McQueen label is

 Sarah Burton.

She has work with the late designer side for more than 14 years as 

womenswear designer and now being appointed to her current position.

She was responsible for completing McQueen’s final collection,

 the 16 pieces of which were 80 percent finished 

at the time of the designer's death. 

She said in a statement of her appointment:

 “The creation of modern, beautifully crafted clothes
 was at the heart of Lee’s vision.

 I intend to stay true to his legacy.”

When you thought skulls and bones are getting boring and way past off the season, Alexandra McQueen saves the day. I love the prints! I love tribals influences and I love skulls! I never thought this two elements could fused so well and McQueen vision makes may dreams came true! I simply can't take my eyes off that fabulous prints. I adore so much of acid wash look and effects on fabrics. I want those coats and trench! I will wear that fur winged coat! This whole collection is so amazingly wearable compared to what he had done past collections. Compared to what other designers had showcase for this season! Fantastically styled co-ordinated assemble. The Vibe is smart hardcore edgyness, not for the elementary. McQueen serves for dramatic-act-club. Yes...I really want the winged fur coat! Plus the bags!
