Come to my Art of Window Display

How many times have you walk pass a shop and you have to go in
because the window display grasp your attention?
Your hearts melts like soft butter & you have to make a purchase.
That's the power of Window Display.
Shops don't need to put a gorilla in the window.
Well, with exception of the picture above....

I love &  appreciate a good window display.
You'll know that the brand puts an effort & thought
in dressing up their windows by the presentation of it.
Clean windows are most priority!
A concept, usually a message that the designer/boutiques
wants to convey.

We can't deny that the windows are the soul to the boutiques/malls.
The importance of it will make or break a brand.
The ones thats stand out provide a deep impact,
its like watching your favourite movie or a play.

You just want to be affiliated with that brand because
you feel that you've just found your new bestfriend....
You need to spend time in the boutique/mall,
get to know the merchandise, look around,
try something you fancy and finally to the cashier.
Knowing that today you're not going to spend but
because of the window display, you did!

Here are some window display that gets my attention
while I was in Bangkok.
Some of these window display are so extra ordinary & unique.
Most of them are from local designer boutique!
Everything is thought process and paid attention to from
the frontage of their store to the interior design.
It's make shopping more fun which is what shopping experience
supposed to be!

Your eyes are not playing a trick on you.
This is supposed to be a view from the top.
All props & mannequins are mounted from the wall.
I love it!
I must say Bangkok local designers ROCK!
Thanks for the creativity Bangkok!

Travelounge: A Christmas Special Around the World.

So, this is Christmas!
What a wonderful time of the year, where places are
nicer and so do people. (Yes! we are nicer around this time)

Lovely atmosphere, the weather is right...
the mood sets into your heart, love, peace & harmony.
This is the time also to reflect & be grateful for
all the things that HE has blessed upon you.
Share! with the people less fortunate that you.
Pay it forward, the agendas that you have hold
in your heart.
Give some and get back some.
Expect nothing in return.
Smile generously....

The awesome part is when you got to see the
celebration out of your town.
Here are some of the places in Los Angeles
when I was there in late November.
These places are already decked out in
Christmas lights & decoration in full show!
I'm glad & thrilled to have experience this.

This is a small town of Pasadena.
Great place to hang out for shopping & dinner.
Love the view of this place, where you know
that you're really not in Singapore.
There always a similarity in places where you think
that, 'oh! we have this like in Singapore'.
...but not this.
The feel is totally magical, with the lights
& esthetically, I never seen it before.
Almost like a movie set!

Grove in Los Angeles is a spectacular small
cozy town, it's like a mini Orchard road.
It's dazzling with lights all around.
I love the tramp ride, the vintage train bus
run across the area to take you within Grove.
It's so fun especially at this time.

This is where friends & family meet & hang out.
Just to enjoy the view, have dinner, a movie
and enjoy each other company.

This quirky decorations crack me up!

They are part of Christmas display in
Central World Mall, Bangkok, Thailand!

So now you guys know where I took & pose
with my eyes closed with this picture.
The bloody red velvety sofa was so
comfortable that I wish I could bring that home!
Check out more of these quirky & fun
decorations!
OH! So adorable!
HO! HO! HO!

I'm loving Mariah Carey's New Christmas Album!
This one she performs 'O Come All Ye Faithfull' with
her mother, Patricia Carey!
What a talented family!

'till next Christmas...
I wish you the all the best things may bestow upon you..
Enjoy this one!

Have a Fabulous Fashionable Merry Christmas!!

In Thailand, everyone smiles, you can't help it but to go along with it.
There's no time to waste as you go along your way
shopping thru' endless bargains along the streets or in the mall,
time seems to fly. Which means you're having fun!
Trendy fashions can be found in Platinum Mall.
You'll be grasping for time there going thru' hundreds
of shops that offer wholesale prices.
Be sure to go there early before 7pm local time
as shops starts to close by then!

In Thailand, there are endless possibilities of escape from
the world. Name your fun and you got it here.
You'll missed Thailand even before you're home.

The secret hideout & places thats waiting for you to explore
holds beyond your imagination,
You just breathe.

The grace of Thailand goes along way...the laughter
and the faces of happiness... in Khao San.
A place for the indies, hippies & Bohemians.
This is the place for their fashion style.

Unity of the people, the King. Prayers, Beliefs
and Traditions felt so strong.
The vendors along the streets making
a living. I will miss bargaining my shopping
trips. It never can be done back home.
I must say I'm getting a hand of it since the first time,
I'm improving!

Street vendor waiting for customers.

Although it's hard to be a fashionable there,
as the weather is extremely hot & humid.
Dress light & keep your designer stuff at home.
It will save you on unnecessary troubles.
Also, vendors will bargain with you more when you
dress simple!
Thailand never fail to surprise me.
Hope you enjoy my photographs moods.
I know I'll be back soon!

Travel Location: Bangkok, Thailand.
